SIAC awarded $460 million contract from USCYBERCOM

Science Applications International Corp. (SIAC) was awarded a five-year, multiple-award, indefinite deliver, indefinite quantity contract worth up to $460 million on Wednesday from the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management (FEDSIM) and U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).

“SAIC is proud to support USCYBERCOM operations and joint mission planning capabilities for the Department of Defense,” Linda Messano, SIAC senior vice president and general manager of Department of Defense (DoD) agencies and Command Customer group, said. “We are excited to begin work on this critical program and to bring our mission understanding and experience to support and enhance our nation’s cyber defense.”

The contract stipulates that SIAC provide a broad scope of cyber support services, including new and emerging technologies, subject to changes throughout the life of the contract. SIAC will provide capabilities, knowledge and expertise in cyberspace operations, joint operations planning, training and exercises, and business areas needed to support USCYBERCOM’s operational mission. Additionally, the contract include all-source intelligence, research and development, testing, and evaluation services.

USCYBERCOM conducts activities to direct operations of defense for specified DoD information networks as well as conducting full-scale cyberspace operations.

SIAC is a technology integrator providing full life cycle services in the technical, engineering, intelligence and enterprise information technology markets.
