ManTech’s Advanced Cyber Range Environment achieves full operational capability

ManTech International Corporation recently announced full operational capability of its Advanced Cyber Range Environment, a system that enables users to test and evaluate the cyber-preparedness of their networks and to train in the latest defensive cyber technologies.

With the new cyber range system, users can draw lessons from military-grade cyber training, testing and evaluation capabilities in specific situations that could affect their company’s networks. Users can also test their skills under “live fire” from real malware in a nondestructive environment.

Developed to fit specific needs of each customer, experts with the Advanced Cyber Range work to assess various technical and personnel capabilities in order to pinpoint specific vulnerabilities in each network. Included in the cyber range are live simulations that teach users how to stop malicious cyber events.

“ManTech’s Advanced Cyber Range Environment offers strategic, best-in-class capabilities for our customers, providing the most innovative cybersecurity test, evaluation, and training infrastructure in the marketplace and allowing customers to rapidly improve all facets of their security posture,” ManTech President and CEO Kevin Phillips said. “This offering captures five years of development and support of leading-edge range environments.”

More recently, ManTech supported a number of cyber response efforts for the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Health and Human Services, the Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
