DSI event: Joint Civil & DoD CBRN Symposium on March 5-6 in Alexandria, Va.

The 2018 Joint Civil & DoD CBRN Symposium presented by the Defense Strategies Institute will take place on March 5-6 at the Mary M. Gates Learning Center in Alexandria, Virginia. The event will provide a forum for members of the Department of Defense, federal government, private industry, academia, and other stakeholders to discuss the latest updates from key organizations involved in advancing a government-wide approach to CBRN defense, preparedness, readiness and response.

Invited speakers will outline their high-level organizational initiatives, to include technological updates and the supporting RDT&E for equipping multi-mission forces with CBRNE defense equipment to provide assistance to first responders, and state and local governments in response to and recovery from the effects of a CBRN incident.

This symposium will provide valuable information on the efforts and strategies to build partnerships within the CBRN community, and provide stakeholders with key viewpoints on future capabilities and requirements for the CBRN defense community.

DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of the symposiums’ content and focus areas, and will assemble the most respected minds in the CBRN defense community from operational leaders, intelligence providers, key policymakers, as well as solution providers from industry and academia. DSI’s non-partisan approach allows the institute to reach across all involved organizations and bring together a holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
