DHS S&T to demonstrate new cybersecurity technologies at 2018 RSA Conference

Thirteen market-ready cybersecurity technologies will be demonstrated by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) researchers at partners from April 16-20 at the 2018 RSA Conference in San Francisco.

S&T will demonstrate new cybersecurity technologies like AI-Analyst, which aims to accelerate cybersecurity workflow practices, Akatosh, which provides real-time forensic analysis of endpoints after malware attacks, APE, which can prevent intrusion to Android devices, and Bastille Networks, which identifies radio-frequency borne attacks, vulnerabilities and threats.

“Market-ready technology is essential to combat constantly evolving cyber-threats,” a DHS release stated. “To ensure the nation has strong cyber-defenses, S&T’s cybersecurity research and development team works to find and develop technologies that can bring game-changing impacts to cybersecurity end-users across the U.S. government, private sector and international partners.”

S&T will also demonstrate Code DX, an automated tool for managing application vulnerabilities, Mobile Endpoint Security, an app that detects when a device connects to a new network, PEACE, a tool that intercepts and vets all network connections, ReCon, a system designed to analyze network traffic in real time, and the Red Hat Mobile Platform, an end-to-end mobile security solution that can enhance security while reduce mobile security costs.

Also on display will be SecureCAST, a cloud-based tool that can determine if telephone calls are authentic in real time; Spoofer, a tool for measuring and enhancing Source Address Validation across a global internet; StreamWorks, a tool that continuously monitors data streaming patterns; and Verified.ME, an identity management tool that uses blockchain to separate log-in capabilities.
