Booz Allen to compete on NAVAIR PASS contract

Information technology and consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (Booz Allen) has been awarded a spot on the Program and Systems Support (PASS) professional services contract by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Corporate Business Office (CBO), the company announced on Tuesday.

Valued at up to $495 million, the PASS contract aims to address technical challenges related to acquisition, implementation and product sustainment services for all Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, commands, and field activities. Booz Allen is among eight companies that will compete to provide the DoD with innovative technical solutions on the five-year PASS contract.

“We are honored to partner with NAVAIR to deliver full-spectrum technical expertise, insight, political awareness and technical direction, which will enable the DoD to fulfill current and emerging defense objectives globally,” Dottie Simeona, a Booz Allen vice president, said. “Our customers are facing extreme pressures to become more integrated, interoperable, capable and mission ready for every dollar invested. PASS provides Booz Allen with an opportunity to deliver integrated solutions that will enable quantifiable outcomes.”

Based in McLean, Virginia, Booz Allen employs more than 23,000 people. The firm provides consulting, analytics, digital solutions, engineering, and cyber expertise to private business, government, and military customers.
