KBRwyle awarded U.S. Army Corps of Engineers contract

The government services business of KBR, KBRwyle, is one of six contractors awarded a $900 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering Research and Development Center.

KBRwyle was selected to fix problems identified through the Department of Defense’s (DoD) Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) Program through the awarded 10-year contract. KBRwyle also won a seat on the previous JT&E Program contract in 2007.

The JT&E Program is designed to improve the joint interoperability of systems and enhance the validation of testing methodologies. Further, the program develops new tactics and measures the extent to which their use improves operational outcomes.

KBRwyle will help find new ways for U.S. warfighters to accomplish their missions with today’s equipment and processes. KBRwyle will have the opportunity to bid on task orders issued by the JT&E Program Offices to resolve critical warfighter issues. KBRwyle’s support will include test and evaluation, specialized engineering, cybersecurity, and intelligence.

“We are honored to be selected as a prime on this contract again and take seriously the confidence exhibited by the DoD in choosing us to continue on this important program,” Byron Bright, president of KBR Government Services U.S, said. “We will continue to work with the JT&E Program Office to develop rapid and effective solutions to complex warfighter issues with professionalism, rigor, and innovation.”

KBRwyle is a leading systems engineering provider to the U.S. military, supporting more than 35 Navy, Army and Air Force programs over the last 40 years.
