Avionics and IT firm Rockwell Collins will demonstrate how its integrated training solutions are enhancing digital battlespace during next week’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).

Officials said the firm is expected to introduce the next-generation of its industry-leading fast-jet simulator display system and a new product enabling secure data-flow over unsecured networks.

Among the anticipated demonstrations is live, virtual and constructive-enabled training; the Coalescence mixed reality system; the Integrated Digital Vision System (IDVS); and the Enhanced Reality Vision System (ERV-30).

“In order to maximize training effectiveness, it’s essential to have scalable, immersive, realistic, seamless and secure training environments,” Nick Gibbs, vice president and general manager of Simulation & Training Solutions for Rockwell Collins, said. “The products we’re unveiling and showcasing at the show do just that, so our customers can meet their training objectives without the boundaries they traditionally face.”

Other featured Rockwell Collins displays are expected to focus on affordable training efficacy; the EP-8100 image generation system; and WholeEarth synthetic environment.

Rockwell Collins offers a comprehensive portfolio of products and services that can transform futures while helping pilots safely and reliably navigate to the far corners of the earth; keep warfighters aware and informed in battle; deliver millions of messages for airlines and airports, and help passengers stay connected and comfortable throughout their journey.
