The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) recently awarded BAE Systems a more than $17 billion, 10-year multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 (SIA 3).

An IDIQ contract is awarded when the U.S. General Services Administration cannot determine a specific quantity the government will require during the contract period.

BAE Systems was the largest provider of analytic services on DIA’s SIA 2. Under the new contract, BAE Systems will support and assist the DIA; deliver timely, objective, and cogent military intelligence to warfighters, defense planners, and policymakers; and provide worldwide coverage.

“We are delivering secure, cost-efficient services to maintain and enhance the mission-critical systems DIA relies on every day,” Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of the company’s Intelligence Solutions business, said. “We’re excited to continue our longstanding partnership with DIA and bring our next-generation talent to work for their mission.”

The company has provided intelligence support and related services to the DIA for more than 30 years.

BAE Systems provides large-scale engineering, integration, and sustainment services across air, cyber, land, sea, and space. It also enables militaries and governments to successfully carry out their respective missions by delivering a range of services and solutions.
