KBR wins Army contract to install video equipment

The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) awarded KBR a three-year contract to provide video evidence management services for the Mobile Federal Law Enforcement Enterprise Technology Service (M-FLEETS) program.

As part of the contract, KBR will install dash cameras, digital video recorders, ruggedized computers, and mobile communications into military police vehicles. They will be connected to the KBR Evidence Collection Archive & Retrieval Service (ECARS) cloud application.

KBR will provide all equipment, software, and support. KBR has partnered with Panasonic to integrate their products and services with Microsoft Azure Government Cloud and other platforms.

“KBR’s integrated and innovative IT solution will allow first responders for the DoD and other federal agencies to capture, transmit, view and archive videos and critical data. Our turnkey services will ultimately make communities safer,” Byron Bright, president, Government Solutions U.S. at KBR, said.
Over the three-year contract period, KBR may service more than 1,600 vehicles and more than 5,000 officers located at 40 Department of Defense installations. KBR will perform most of this work in Sioux Falls, S.D.
