Curtiss-Wright Corporation announced that it has secured a series of Navy contracts in excess of $130 million to aid naval defense platforms.
The scope of work includes providing propulsion valves, pumps, and advanced instrumentation and control systems for the Navy’s Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine, Columbia-class submarine, and Ford-class aircraft carrier programs.

Curtiss-Wright is executing the work at its New York and Pennsylvania facilities within its Defense Electronics and Naval & Power Segments. Engineering and manufacturing are underway and will continue through 2025.
Firm officials indicated Curtiss-Wright has ensured reliable operations by supplying products for every nuclear submarine and aircraft carrier commissioned by the Navy for over 60 years while the firm’s power-dense motors and valve designs provide more efficient operations, manpower, and cost reductions.
