NSA, National Cryptologic Foundation form partnership

National Security Agency (NSA) recently announced a partnership with the National Cryptologic Foundation to strengthen domestic cybersecurity education and cybersecurity job possibilities.

The collaboration is expected to promote a deeper understanding of prior domestic cryptologic successes; support public/private collaboration to address emergent cybersecurity challenges; and foster relationships with academia to develop and attract future cryptologists and cybersecurity professionals.

“Recruiting and retaining next-generation talent are among our top priorities at the NSA,” NSA General Paul M. Nakasone said. “Relationships to enhance our hiring efforts are fundamental to our ability to consistently provide world-class foreign intelligence and cybersecurity expertise.”

The National Cryptologic Foundation seeks to serve as a platform for public / private dialogue regarding cybersecurity while providing resources for nationwide cyber education to grow cyber talent. The body was founded 25 years ago as a 501 c(3) not for profit.

The Foundation possesses three primary objectives: Educate the public, foster public engagement, and commemorate and celebrate all who have served the nation in silence.
