White paper outlines tactical edge communications challenges

Military communications and network solutions company Fuse Integration has released a white paper examining the Joint All-Domain Command and Control system’s (JADC2) role in addressing military tactical edge challenges.

“U.S. and allied defense forces are facing an increasingly dynamic landscape across the globe,” Fuse Integration CEO Sumner Lee said. “The race is on to ensure reliable, secure warfighter communications despite our adversaries’ interference. We’re eager to share this white paper, which starts and ends by placing the warfighter at the center of communication advancements – and the initiatives underway to support them in delaying, degrading, or denying adversary aggression in the battlespace.”

The analysis highlights promising initiatives and innovative technologies designed to ensure joint-force soldiers will be able to securely communicate with each other and with command centers without considering interoperability limitations.

Fuse Integration maintains the white paper emphasizes that battles will not be won with the most advanced technology or the biggest bombs but with information dominance that enables decisive action.

Additionally, Fuse Integration indicated the company is actively demonstrating and delivering its tactical edge networking capability to defense clients. In October, it successfully conducted a live-flight demonstration at the Office of Naval Research’s Technical Concept Experiment replicating expeditionary operations in a contested littoral environment.

The full white paper is available on Fuse Integration’s website.
