“Defexpo is the ideal platform for presenting our range of CBRN respiratory products, services and thermal imagers,” Nick Primavesi, sales director for Asia at Avon Protection, said. “Our products meet the requirements of the the Indian defense sector and this exhibition is the ideal place to meet and share knowledge. Our products are developed in close consultation with end-users in response to very stringent demands. We constantly strive to meet our customers’ requirements, meaning innovation is ongoing and ever changing.”
Among the equipment Avon will have on display at the expo are its trusted 50 series respiratory masks. The FM53/CSPAPR/ST53 Combination Unit Respirator System will be available for demonstration at the Avon stand. The devices are standard issue to the U.S. military and other highly regarded specialist agencies worldwide, and meet both CE and NIOSH specifications for gas masks and breathing equipment.
Also on display will be the Argus thermal imaging cameras, which have been used by the Indian Navy in an official capacity for more than 20 years. The P Type and TT Type cameras are also in use with Indian security, law enforcement and border patrol agencies for perimeter surveillance and potential threat identification.
