Northrop Grumman Corporation officials recently unveiled the company’s newest building in Longbow Park in Boulder, Colo.
The effort supports the company’s national security program, including the growth of the Overhead Persistent Infrared Exploitation (OPIR) and Advanced Mission Systems (AMS) programs and the enhancement of Northrop Grumman’s Colorado footprint with added capabilities to aid in protecting the nation and its allies.
The new building includes a 23,680 square foot addition to the campus and features a radio frequency research lab, green initiatives, and flexibility for future growth.
“This expansion will create new jobs in the region while enhancing our ability to provide innovative solutions to our customers for missile warning and defense programs,” OPIR Exploitation Systems Operating Unit (OESOU) Director Calvin Pennamon said, adding the new venue serves as an investment in the company’s employees, customers, and the Boulder community.
Northrop Grumman is one of Colorado’s leading aerospace and defense companies, with over 2,200 employees statewide supporting customers, including the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Missile Defense Agency, and the intelligence community.
