Guidehouse, a global AI-led professional services firm, announced it has expanded its defense and security segment by adding two professionals with more than 40 years of experience to its leadership.
Nirali Chawla and Angel Wange will join the company as Partners to drive modernization and mission readiness, the company said. The two women have long careers in technology enablement, cybersecurity, AI and defense modernization.
Officials said Chawla joins the company as the U.S. Navy Technology Account Leader and will lead efforts to advance cyber resilience, digital transformation, IT audit readiness, and mission success. Previously, she has advised clients like the U.S. Department of Defense and led modernization initiatives across multiple DoD agencies. Chawla has been recognized as a 2025 Top 50 Women Leader of Virginia and a 1014 Women Leader in Consulting.
“Nirali is an exceptional leader with a proven track record of driving technology modernization and mission outcomes across the DoD,” Brian Wodarski, partner and Defense & Security Technology Capability Leader at Guidehouse, said. “Her experience, perspective, and strong client relationships make her a tremendous asset as we continue to support advancing the Navy’s mission and modernizing their technology.”
Wang was previously in financial management transformation and will focus on expanding Guidehouse’s capabilities in AI-enabled audit readiness and operational efficiency. Prior to joining the company, Wang guided CFOs, CDAOs, CIOs and CTOs across federal agencies and is known for driving AI-adoption and delivering first-to-market solutions.
“Angel’s track record in leading agencies through transformation and her deep expertise in emerging technologies is invaluable as we continue to expand our Defense & Security financial management capabilities,” Ruba Elbasha, partner and Defense & Security Financial Management Capability Leader at Guidehouse, said. “By bridging technical innovation with mission-driven outcomes, she will advance our ability to serve clients in their most complex modernization initiatives.”
