The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) will take its podcast, titled “The Green Line,” to radio airwaves starting on May 15.
The podcast, which has had more than 700,000 downloads, will broadcast on 1030 KVOI The Voice, a radio station based in Tuscon, Arizona. The show will air at 7:00 a.m.
The NBPC said that it would continue to feature high-ranking politicos and pundits while offering an “unapologetically conservative voice on issues surrounding the security of our borders, our families and our nation.” The Green Line remains the only radio show hosted by active duty law enforcement officers.
“Starting May 15, 2016, America is going to hear the truth about what is happening on the border, directly from the agents who protect it,” NBPC President Brandon Judd said. “The public has demanded border security, and in return they have gotten amnesty and weakened enforcement, resulting in a border region where drug cartels have free reign. The public deserves to know the truth, and who better to deliver the real facts than the border security experts — our agents.”
Past topics of the podcast included the flood of unaccompanied minors coming into the Rio Grande Valley, the spike in criminal aliens being arrested, and the practice of agents being instructed to release undocumented people without issuing notices to appear.
