U.S. Chamber of Commerce officials said a recently launched digital resource center seeks to aid business leaders and associations in wholly navigating varied COVID-19 vaccine questions.
Authorities noted the COVID-19 Vaccines Digital Resource Center contains state-specific information, guidance for developing an employer vaccine communication and strategy, as well as the latest reliable data on vaccine safety as a means of ensuring the business community has the tools and resources needed to return to business.
“Our economy will return to strength when we return to health—and science and smart planning will get us there,” Suzanne Clark, president and CEO-Elect of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said. “Vaccinating all Americans is the ultimate silver bullet that will allow us to restore normalcy and reignite a broad-based economic recovery. Over the last several months, the Chamber has been leading efforts, including through the Chamber Foundation’s Path Forward event series, to provide accurate, actionable, and data-driven guidance around COVID-19, protection measures, and vaccines to businesses and communities across the country.”
Officials noted the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation partnered with the data science firm Civis Analytics to facilitate message testing for vaccine campaigns. The research determined how employers should talk about the vaccine and provides a data-driven approach to COVID-19 messaging.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is slated to regularly update the resources center through uschamber.com/vaccine as additional information and guidance becomes available.
