Certain violent crimes have dropped in multiple cities across the United States during the first six months of the year, according to a recent Council on Criminal Justice report.
From January through June, homicides decreased 17 percent in 30 cities compared to the same period a year ago. Carjacking dropped 24 percent, gun assaults decreased 21 percent, aggravated assault dropped 10 percent, and sexual assault declined 10 percent compared to 2023.
“Under President (Donald) Trump and Secretary (Kristi) Noem, our law enforcement is working at lightning speed to remove violent criminal illegal aliens from the U.S. Every single day we are arresting gang members, murderers, pedophiles, and violent predators,” U.S. Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. “Seventy percent of ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) arrests are of illegal aliens who have been convicted or charged with a crime. These arrests and deportations of criminal illegal aliens are having real impact on public safety.”
The arrested illegal aliens also included those with pending charges.
On Saturday and Sunday, ICE officers arrested multiple illegal aliens including child pedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers from Mexico, Cuba, Columbia and other nations.
